The Others

January 22, 2007

There are another three items lined up. And each of them are really eating on my official and unofficial work times!!! I have seen people use the iProcess Engine client and really believe that such a client can be easily developed via SSO calls. Admininstering the iProcess Engine is another activity that can be made simpler. A tool that can be used by anyone with little or no knowledge of the Server workings. Activities like Procedure Management, Heap size checks and proactive corrections, iProcess Engine process monitors, etc. all can be very conveniently put down in one single application.

Another application that was recently brought to my attention is TIBCO HAWK monitoring console. An application based on HAWK AMI protocol that would provide customized control (including rule-sets) for all the engines. I have already started digging the AMI docs and work should hopefully begin coming month.

The third and last item for the coming months is an XPDL generator that would be easy to use (well most are anyways..Enhydra Java WE!!) . Like say direct import and export to iProcess Modeller, syntaxt reconciliation, ease of assigning form addressees, etc. I was fascincated with the TIBCO Business Studio. The referrence docs were just saying that the modeller procs can be exported to XPDL and configured with any Workflow Editor and the next second, they just came up with their own…..
